Meet our new puppy

This is . . . . . well acutally we still are working on a name for her but we went to the animal shelter today to look at the doggies and see if any of them would be a good fit with Kiah. Well this adorable thing is what we brought home. She is so fun and has a similiar personality to Kiah they already love playing with eachother. Right now actually they are both passed out on the floor from exhaustion (a dog's life is rough). I'm super excited for our new puppy. She is a black lab mix about 1yr old and full of lovable personality. The names I'm considering so far are Sasha, Ali, Indie and Raili. Let me know what you think or if you have any good names let me know.

Day Trip

So during my 1st few day off of school I still had to work and of course that is when the weather was nice. But it was still fine because we got lots of yard work done together. Well last Friday we were bored and sick of the crappy weather so we packed the dog and headed to antelope island. Not sure what we would find to do but it was a lot of fun walking across the sand out to the water and then hiking up the hills. It turned out not to be such a bad day out there we missed all the rain that day. However, we did have to deal with the nasty invisible bugs :)

Kiah's little hide out.

It was windy promise i don't usually style my hair straight up.

This time last year ♥

Just about one year ago my whole family went on the funnest trip to California. We had a rented condo and visited disneyland and the beach and it was such a good time! Austin flew in a few days later just in time for my birthday and I was so excited he got to come. On Doug, Brittney, Sami and Jasper's last day in California we decided to visit the beach again before they had to go :( So we found Seal Beach and it was a super windy day but none the less BEAUTIFUL! I love the ocean. As we are walking on the pier my family got all funny and started walking away while Austin held me back a little and pulled me to the side. My heart started racing and Austin got super quiet for just a few seconds before he asked me to be his wife! Aaaahhhhh oh my goodness OF COURSE!!!!!!!!!!! It was the most amazing feeling I was so happy, excited and just felt like I was floating. It could not have been a more perfect setting.

Birthday wishes!

Last Wednesday was my 24th birthday! I can't believe I'm getting so old. I still feel like I'm 12. 24 just feels weird I guess. But it was such a fun day. My adorable husband had this cute ice cream cake (yummy!) for me and he put all 24 candles on it and sang me a quick rendition of "happy birthday".

My wish " I hope school goes by quick can't wait to have my life back!"

Then we went and did some bowling which was a new adventure for us. Best of 3 games. Yeah I won but I wonder if Austin let me because it was my birthday and he knows I'm a sore loser :)

Then we went to one of my favorite restaurants and had the best meal! I love sushi so so so much! This place is awesome I highly recommend it!
And for my present I got beautifuly dark tinted windows! Love it ! My car is so super sexy now (beep beep move over!) Thanks to my wonderful husband that loves to spoil me.

Sick babies :(

I've been doing this last rotation of clinical at Primary Childrens Hospital and what an experience it has been. I thought it was gonna be really hard to see sick little kids and it really was, however it was an amazing thing to get the be part of getting them better. I really enjoyed it and am considering working there when I get done with school. But time will tell, I'm still undecided on what I really wanna do as a nurse. I think I wanna do a little bit of everything.

Babies!

Ha ha no I'm not having any babies, sorry to disapoint if anyone may have had that thought. For the last two weeks I've been in my OB rotation in school and seen lots of babies born. It has been such an amazing experience to learn about and see these sweet little angels come into this world. Because of where I work at LDS hospital on the Med/Surg floor the outcomes we see are usually much more depressing. But being part of happy wonderful outcomes has been a really great adventure. I've only gotten baby goo on my shoes twice (I've learned to wear shoe covers during deliveries now). I'm glad that this rotation in school has been good because school is so much to handle and it's given me the little boost that I needed to keep going.
